Transition Town Exmouth
LOCAL FOOD POTLUCK AND NETWORK EVENT
Friday September 17th 18.30 for 19.00
Telfer centre, Exmouth Community College, Exmouth

An opportunity to promote local food, network with people from Transition Town, Climate Action and other groups involved in sustainability ventures and share projects that you may be launching in the autumn. There will be space to display information about your group on tables or boards.

The evening will start (18.30 for 19.00) with a local food potluck so please bring a dish made from predominantly locally sourced foods (and the recipe) to share. Fair trade wine will be on sale. There is a kitchen available to reheat food if necessary. We'll then have an opportunity to hear about each other's projects, network and listen to some musical entertainment before we finish at 22.00. Directions and map can be found at http://www.exmouthcollege.devon.sch.uk/Maps.htm

Charging Points

juice

Having spoken to many of the exhibitors at the Green Transport Rally, there were many requests for electric vehicle charging points in Seaton.  We had a large number of electric cycles present at the event, but for electric cars or bicycles to become a practical option, it is essential that charging points are made available.  It is an excellent opportunity for Devon to lead the way in sustainable personal transport options, and would assist the area to become an eco-tourism destination.

If you would like to help us to try and prove a need for an electric charging point, please contact us, and we will tell you how you can help further this vital change. Email: info@sustainableseaton.com
